Dina originates from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she relocated in Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. Dina Meyer is the younger sibling of Gregory, and has an older brother named Evan. In the years between nine between the ages of 16 and 19, her first exposure to the industry was when she began modeling. The beginning of her acting career was at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was studying Sanford Meisner's methods along with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are also amongst the actors that have undergone this type of training. The first time she was cast as an actress was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, which required her to move from Los Angeles to Los Angeles. Within the following few months, she landed the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was the one responsible for nearly all stunts and demonstrated herself as an experienced actor. She was also represented by Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to get a regular part in the show Friends.
